Hi, my name is Mr. Yamane and I teach 7^th grade science and an exploratory class (Medical Detectives).  I’ve been an educator in this district for 20+ years and have taught 4^th, 6^th, and 8^th grade as well.  I received my teaching degree from Eastern Washington University (Go Eags!).  My goal, besides teaching the standards, is to show kids how relevant science is in their world and there’s nothing to be afraid of.  Life is about discoveries, failures, successes, and always being ready to take that next step.
