Attendance

At MLMS, we encourage daily attendance. Missing 10% of the school year can affect a student’s success. Our district sends monthly letters to families with attendance updates in three zones.

• Green: Student has missed 10% or less of school days.
• Yellow: Student has missed 11-15% of school days.
• Red: Student has missed 16% or more of school days.

Please communicate with our attendance secretary (565-3300) whenever your child is absent. We encourage Green Zone attendance through incentives and individual goal-setting when needed.
