Dear Parents,

I am excited to be your child’s 6th grade science teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. This is my 24th year of teaching and I’m ready for another fantastic year here in Medical Lake. This year I am teaching all of the 6th grade science classes and the 6th grade Project Lead the Way elective class. I am also the middle school robotics coach.

6th grade science focuses on Earth and Space. We have a new curriculum this year, Inspire Science; McGraw-Hill, and I'm looking forward to the new labs and other learning opportunities that it has to offer.

The PLTW class will focus on designing and constructing 3D models. Students will apply math and measurement concepts to create detailed models in a digital environment.
