School lunch: $3.05 and Breakfast $1.50, Reduced $.40
For Lunch: - Hot and Spicy Popcorn Chicken or Chicken Tender Strips, Garlic Cheese Boat and Seasoned Chickpeas
Two separate lines: one for the main lunch and one for all the other lunch alternative choices.
Students that bring cold lunch: Please remember to get your lunch boxes from the cafeteria. They are not to be left in the cafeteria!

Students may purchase a la cart items at lunch. You must have money in your account. No charging will be allowed on a la cart items. Please remember no lunch money will be accepted in the lunch line. Lunch money must be turned into the office before 10:30 a.m.
All 8th grade students will go to the JA Finance Park on Friday, November 30 at the Shriners New Event Center in Airway Heights. They will depart from the middle school at 9:15 and return by 2:15. Permission forms must be turned in by Tuesday, November 27. 
Whoville Choir Club is being offered to all students. The Winter Festival will be held on December 8. Practice is everday after school from 2:30 until 4:30 (activity buses available) in room 23 or on the cafeteria stage. A signed permission form is required.
Scholastic Fook Fair is open from November 14 through November 20. 
Please look through the Lost and Found. All items will be donated after conferences. 
It's time to buy your yearbooks for the 2018-19 school year.  You can pay $20 at the office until December 1.  After that, prices go up to $25.  Reserve your yearbook right away! 
Drama has started and meets on Thursdays from 2:30 pm until 4:30 pm. It is open to all grade levels. Permission forms are in the office.
Canned Food Drive ends today at 9 a.m. Items will be collected in 2nd period classes for all grades. The top class in each grade will earn a doughnut party. Donations will be evaluated by total weight of food rather than number of items. ASB reps will collect all the items on the 16th. 
Have you considered giving your time and energy to make our school, community and world a better place? If so, join the Cougar Corps Volunteer Club.  We will be meeting on Wednesdays after school.  Any student at MLMS can join if you have paid your ASB fee.  Pick up your permission slip in the office, and talk to Mrs.Cooke if you have any questions.
Chess club for 7th and 8th graders start October 1 and runs through December 10. It will meet on Mondays from 2:30 until 4:30. The first 12 students to turn in their permission forms will get to participate. The 6th grade session starts February 11 and will run through April 8. 
Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh card club meets Wednesdays after school from 2:30 until 4:30 in Mr. Yamane's room  (activity buses are available). Permission forms are required and are in the office. 
Attention all bicycle riders: this is a reminder to walk your bike off of campus. We would also like you to walk it to Lake Street rather than walking through the congestion of students waiting for buses. 
Remember students: no backpacks, bags or purses are allowed in the classroom. You must store all items in your locker.
Attention Students: Students are not allowed to be in the hallways at lunch time. You must bring your coats and anything else you need for that time. Lunch boxes are to be left in the cafeteria. You will not be allowed to go to your locker. Students observed in the hallways during lunch without permission will be issued a lunch detention. Please see Mr. Cruger, Mrs. Campbell or Mr. Koch during lunch if you need to leave the cafeteria.

Student drop off is in front of the building. Students are NOT to be dropped off in the bus loop. It is for buses only.

Students are not to ride skateboards, long boards or scooters to school. They are not allowed on school campus.

Students please remember you are not allowed in the building before 7:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 on Friday because there is no adult supervision. The doors will be locked and you will have to wait outside until then.

If you are tardy 3 or more times, there will be consequences. Consequences for multiple tardies (3 or more) may include a letter home, lunch detention or after school detention.
