Today is an A day.
ASB will be hosting a Valentine’s dance after school on February 14th from 2:30-4:30. The dance will be free to attend and is a reward for all of our students who have followed our school’s INCREDIBLE behavior expectations. Any student who does not follow school rules and receives a behavior referral or has excessive tardies during the first two weeks of February - will not be allowed to attend the dance. Also all school rules including the dress code will also be enforced at the dance. This is a very casual event and does not require a date or formal clothes. You will receive permission slip from your advisory class and must have your signed permission slip turned in to the office by Feb 13th. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Z or Mrs. Lee.
Do you want a new book? The library has a Scholastic Book Club order this month. If you order, you get a free book; it is a short story by the Wings of Fire author. Also, with a $25 order you earn a $5 book for FREE! You can only order online; see your library Google Classroom for the flyer and more information. If you have questions, stop by the library and see Mrs. Hester or Mrs. Carl. The deadline to order is January 31st.
Backpacks must be stored in your locker all day. If a staff member sees you carrying a backpack, they will kindly remind you that your backpack belongs in your locker. Thank you for your cooperation.
The game room will be open every Monday during advisory. The first 20 students in line with their ticket will have access to the game room. If you are not one of the 1st 20, you will be asked to go to advisory and be on time to class.
Popcorn will be sold every other Friday during lunch in the cafeteria. You can purchase a bag of popcorn with two IncREDible slips or $1. If paying with IncRedible slips, you can get in line in the cafeteria. If paying with money, you'll need to go to the office first. You'll be given a receipt that you will take to the cafeteria to get your popcorn.
Reminder: the first 10 minutes and last 10 minutes of class are very important to maximize your learning so passes will not be given out during this time. If you are leaving class to anywhere besides the bathroom, be sure you have a purple pass with you. If you are wanting to eat lunch in a teacher's classroom, bring a pass from your teacher to lunch.
Thursdays are Cougar or College apparel days.
If you are tardy 3 or more times, there will be consequences. Consequences for multiple tardies (3 or more) may include a letter home and lunch detention.
