Two separate lines: one for the main lunch and one for all the other lunch alternative choices. Please read the bulletin board on the wall in the cafeteria to know which line to be in.
Students that bring cold lunch: Please remember to get your lunch boxes from the cafeteria. They are not to be left in the cafeteria!
Students may purchase a la cart items at lunch. You must have money in your account. No charging will be allowed on a la cart items. Please remember no lunch money will be accepted in the lunch line. Lunch money must be turned into the office before 10:30 a.m.
Circuit Breakers STEM Challenge: new challenge each week from January 4 through February 22. See the office for details.
Attention mathletes! The Medical Lake math team is now accepting applications to compete in this years Math Classic competition. Applications are available in the office or from your math teacher. The deadline to turn in completed applications to Mr. Boyd or Mrs. Schwarzer is Thursday, January 30th. Don't miss out.
West Plains Arts Academy Children's Theater Program is being offered for grades two through eight at the High School auditorium for $30 starting January 21. Information is in the office for those interested.
Chess Club permission forms for 6th graders are in the office. Hurry to sign up. Only the first 12 students to turn in permission form get to participate. The club meets on Mondays from 2:30 until 4:30 starting January 27 and continues through March 30.
Chromebooks are no longer allowed in the lunchroom. Also, do not walk down the halls with them open.
Pokemon Club has started and meets on Wednesdays in Mr. Yamane's room. Permission forms are in the office.
Basketball for 7th graders has started. Practice is from 2:30 until 4:30 Monday through Friday. Permission forms must be turned in to the office before you can participate.
Lil Venoms Year Round Volleyball program is available for grades three through eight. Registration forms are in the office.
All students that participate in after school sports or clubs must pay the ASB fee of $15.
Check out the display case by the office for Cougar Swag: sweatshirts ($13), sweatpants ($10), long sleeve t-shirt ($10), short sleeve t-shirt ($7), socks ($5), water bottle ($5), backpack ($3), bracelet ($1) and pencils ($.50).
Attention all bicycle riders: this is a reminder to walk your bike off of campus. We would also like you to walk it to Lake Street rather than walking through the congestion of students waiting for buses.
Remember students: no backpacks, bags or purses are allowed in the classroom. You must store all items in your locker.
Attention Students: Students are not allowed to be in the hallways at lunch time. You must bring your coats and anything else you need for that time. Lunch boxes are to be left in the cafeteria. You will not be allowed to go to your locker. Students observed in the hallways during lunch without permission will be issued a lunch detention. Please see Mr. Cruger, Mrs. Campbell or Mr. Koch during lunch if you need to leave the cafeteria.
Student drop off is in front of the building. Students are NOT to be dropped off in the bus loop. It is for buses only.
Students are not to ride skateboards, long boards or scooters to school. They are not allowed on school campus.
Students please remember you are not allowed in the building before 7:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 on Friday because there is no adult supervision. The doors will be locked and you will have to wait outside until then.
If you are tardy 3 or more times, there will be consequences. Consequences for multiple tardies (3 or more) may include a letter home, lunch detention or after school detention.
