School lunch: $3.05 and Breakfast $1.50, Reduced $.40
For Lunch: - Pizza Factory Pizza or Rib-B-Que Sandwich, Salad and Pineapple
Two separate lines: one for the main lunch and one for all the other lunch alternative choices.
 
Students that bring cold lunch: Please remember to get your lunch boxes from the cafeteria. They are not to be left in the cafeteria!

Students may purchase a la cart items at lunch. You must have money in your account. No charging will be allowed on a la cart items. Please remember no lunch money will be accepted in the lunch line. Lunch money must be turned into the office before 10:30 a.m.
 
7th and 8th graders interested in Track, Baseball or Tennis - the paperwork is in the office. First day of practice is Monday, April 8. 
 
6th graders interested in volleyball or basketball - permission forms are in the office. 
 
Study hall has been cancelled this Thursday.  If you have questions, please talk to Ms.Lemire. 
 
There will be another round of friendly competition this Friday - Cougar Spirit Day!   Show your Medical Lake pride by wearing Cougar gear, Cardinal gear, or RED.  BE BOLD, and GO COUGS! 
 
Book Club is being offered to all students starting Monday, December 10 from 2:30 until 4:30 in Ms. Baughman's classroom. Permission forms are in the office. 
 
Yearbook prices have gone up to $25 but it's not too late to purchase one.  
 
Freshmen Orientation Night is tonight at 6:00 pm at the high school auditorium for current 8th graders. Registration forms will be due tomorrow, Wednesday, March 20.  
 
6th graders interested in Chess Club, please stop by the office to get the permission form. Only the first 12 to sign up can participate. It starts Monday, February 4 and runs for 8 weeks from 2:30 until 4:30. Activity buses are available. 
  
Have you considered giving your time and energy to make our school, community and world a better place? If so, join the Cougar Corps Volunteer Club.  We will be meeting on Wednesdays after school.  Any student at MLMS can join if you have paid your ASB fee.  Pick up your permission slip in the office, and talk to Mrs.Cooke if you have any questions.
  
Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh card club meets Wednesdays after school from 2:30 until 4:30 in Mr. Yamane's room  (activity buses are available). Permission forms are required and are in the office. 
 
Attention all bicycle riders: this is a reminder to walk your bike off of campus. We would also like you to walk it to Lake Street rather than walking through the congestion of students waiting for buses. 
  
Remember students: no backpacks, bags or purses are allowed in the classroom. You must store all items in your locker.
 
8th grade students interested in Cheer at the high school for the fall, please stop by the office for information. Tryout learning clinic is May 16, 17, 21 and 23 from 5 until 7:00 at the high school large gym. Tryouts are on Friday, May 24 from 4 until 6. 
 
Attention Students: Students are not allowed to be in the hallways at lunch time. You must bring your coats and anything else you need for that time. Lunch boxes are to be left in the cafeteria. You will not be allowed to go to your locker. Students observed in the hallways during lunch without permission will be issued a lunch detention. Please see Mr. Cruger, Mrs. Campbell or Mr. Koch during lunch if you need to leave the cafeteria.

Student drop off is in front of the building. Students are NOT to be dropped off in the bus loop. It is for buses only.

Students are not to ride skateboards, long boards or scooters to school. They are not allowed on school campus.

Students please remember you are not allowed in the building before 7:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 on Friday because there is no adult supervision. The doors will be locked and you will have to wait outside until then.

If you are tardy 3 or more times, there will be consequences. Consequences for multiple tardies (3 or more) may include a letter home, lunch detention or after school detention.
