Hi there MLMS Cougars!

I would like to let you know a little about myself. I grew up in the Kettle Falls/Colville area. I went to Colville until 7th grade and then graduated from Kettle Falls High School. I went to college in Cheney at EWU. I majored in Social Studies with a minor in Physical Education. Then I was hired at Medical Lake Middle School, I have been extremely lucky to call this place home for the last 27 years!

At MLMS I have taught computers, Washington State History, U. S. History, World History, health, physical education, and Teen Living. For the last 4 years I have been the librarian for both the middle school and the high school. My love of books and technology has made the last 4 years the best years of being an educator. Also, I coached softball, volleyball, and basketball for several years before I had my two sons. Coaching sports led me to be the middle school athletic director for 8 years. 

I have been married for 26 years to my high school sweetheart, Gordy. Our two boys are Mason who is 23 he is starting his journey to be an electrician. Brady is 19 and he is in his second year at EWU, he plans to major in Physical Therapy.
