Dear Students and Families,

I am excited to be your child’s 6th grade science teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This is my 26th year of teaching, and I’m ready for another fantastic year here in Medical Lake. This year, I will be teaching all of the 6th grade science classes. In addition to teaching science, I also coach esports here at the middle school.

6th grade science focuses on Earth and Space. We use McGraw Hill’s Inspire Science curriculum, which students will access through the Chrome browser on their district-issued Chromebooks. Use the link to the syllabus to explore more details about the curriculum and the pacing of the class.
