The Robotics Club focuses on learning science, technology, engineering, and math concepts through the construction and programming of a robot. The STEM concepts are learned through the completion of challenges and as a member of a design team. The Robotics Club uses the Lego robots and software and competes in the First Lego League competitions.
The Robotics Club has a limited number of openings each school year and is open to all MLMS students. Students are selected for the club through an application process. A link to the application is at the bottom of this page.
The Robotics Club meets on Mondays and Thursdays from 2:30-4:30 in room #1. The FLL season begins in September and runs through early December. The length of the season may be extended through February depending on well the team does in the December competition.
